The changes to AN ACC on 1 October supported the fair work commission's decision to raise award wages across all roles in residential aged care.
BUT ... was the entire increase passed on through AN ACC?
The 2025 increase in AN ACC also includes the outbreak management supplement and the hospitality supplement. Together with the increase to the award wages .. something isn't adding up!
Coupled with the implementation of the care minute supplement - which is really just your existing funds being re-labelled, you will have even less funding income from 2026.
By the commencement of FY 27 how much revenue will you be loosing from these changes to government funding?
HELF cannot wait, it is needed to support the funding you used to receive, and now don't.
